Overview

I was approached to build a web application to help tradesmen simplify the quoting process for potential clients. Tradesmen often spend a significant amount of time visiting leads, only to find that the jobs are too small or the clients' budgets are inadequate. What if there was a way for tradesmen to provide quotes remotely and filter potential clients based on the job size and budget?

My Role

I served as the head of product development and lead deveoper. I handled the project's technical development and also directed the design process to ensure it aligned with the project's goals and user experience requirements.

Customised Quote Page

• Tradesmen can select services to display on their personalised URL for generating quotes.
• Set custom rates (half-hourly, half-day, full-day) for each service.
• Ability to override prices for specific services.
• Upload a logo to personalise the personalised quote page
• Customise the colours of the quote page

User-Friendly Interface

• Simple, predefined options for easy setup.
• Preview functionality to review quote page before publishing.

Lead Management

• Dashboard displaying the number of leads and the grand total of all quotes generated.
• Downloadable PDF reports of leads with filters
• Detailed view of individual quotes for each lead

Subscription and Billing Management

• Monthly subscription-based access to the web application
• Change payment methods and view/download invoices
• 7-day grace period for payment before deactivation of the quoting tool
• Automated email notifications for processed payments and payment reminders
